Best Rooftops Bars and Restaurants in Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the best cities for rooftop bars offering a unique perspective of the city’s charm. With stunning views of iconic landmarks like the Sagrada Familia, these rooftop bars are a staple in the exceptional Spanish city. They are also some of the first I visited 20 years ago and I have been back seven times and seen the city rooftop scene evolve into one of the best cities for rooftop bars.

Rooftop review roundup: Despite the Easter weekend’s less-than-ideal weather, with a chill in the air and gusty winds, this rooftop spot provided the perfect refuge. open all year round it offered shelter without compromising on the spectacular views. The service was impeccable, accompanied by the soothing melodies of jazz music. A diverse mix of visitors creating a relaxed atmosphere ideal for drinks. Undoubtedly, the unique selling point of this venue lies in its panoramic views, sweeping majestically over the city of Barcelona.

Rooftop review roundup: As I was staying here, indulging in breakfast with such a breathtaking view was indeed rooftop goals. A relaxed lounge vibe, perfect for guests staying to unwind. It does cater more to hotel guests for that reason however if you are looking for a pit stop if wandering the neighbourhood then I would highly recommend stopping for a drink and these views.

As I mentioned I have been to Barcelona many times but before I started documenting rooftop bars (obviously means I need to go back for an 8th trip!). As such I wanted to give special mention to Terat Rooftop Bar at the Mandarin oriental. Which I have been many times, this is elegant rooftop with a vast space designed as garden. treat, expensive but a treat. The other I would recommend would be the Alaire rooftop bar. (opposite Majestic) 8th floor of the Hotel Condes overlooking La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia rooftop bar and was one of the few that was still open out of season.
