Rooftop review roundup: What a treat of a place, inside full of fun quotes, a glamour bar and lots of nooks and crannies up to the rooftop. It is a little small and there are champagne boards up so blocks any view though is a fun back drop for pics. Perfect for summer chilling to tunes.

Rooftop review roundup: A gorgeous hotel, bar and restaurant and a rooftop to boot! Small but beautifully decorated with wicker chairs and fairy lights, it’s like stepping into a fairy tale with cute houses and hotel rooms surrounding it. It’s not very high and typical for Brighton no view of the sea or city but a firm fav.

Rooftop review roundup: The pub is with history and feels a little worn but with 4 bars, 3 floors and a little escape to the sky (with encouraging messages as you climb the stairs) it’s rude not to. The rooftop is small but vibrant and full of coloured winter lights to make for cosy nights.

Food available? Yes but the rooftop kitchen is small so it’s a limited seafood and small plate menu (unless you come for breakfast). So do check before booking – there is a restaurant downstairs with a wider menu – you can then always come upstairs the the sofas for a drink after.

Booking available? Yes

Smoking allowed? No

Warm/dry weather only? No – this is one the most genuis designs. The restaurant has retractable slats and roof and doors that open fully so it can be fully rooftop vibe or half way if windy or closed if raining. The sofas all dry in seconds after a downpour so they have truly made this as weather responsive as possible πŸ‘

Rooftop review roundup: Opened in 2021 a much needed addition to the Brighton scene. This is London meets the seaside. What I liked most of the whole building was also about clubs and evenings and talks – they have utilised it to create a community. Whilst the menu on the rooftop was limited it was delicious – fully recommend the scallops (I went in twice!) The staff are all new so learning but a special shout out to Max and Ellie who were awesome!

Warm/dry weather only? No as per the room confusion!

Rooftop review roundup: Old cosy pub downstairs that you walk through to the back and then up the stairs to this giant rabbit warren of a rooftop. Only this really isn’t an ordinary rooftop…. it’s a garden room with the roof off! I didn’t even realise and asked where the rooftop was πŸ˜‚ and why that big room was much colder than the cosy pub downstairs! It’s several spaces full of greenery and cute little touches. Definitely different!
