This is a membership club and the only licensed swimming club in the world. It does close for cleaning on certain days so do check current opening times. So for the dedicated local swimmers who don’t want waves in their way, this membership is a must. For the rest of us we can pay as we go for a swim at just $10 (2024 price or be a social member at $25) we can enjoy it from above while admiring the view with a vino or two! Add in cabana’s, cocktails delivered to your sun bed and DJ’s on Friday and Saturday afternoons this is the rooftop pool to rival all rooftop pools. With views of the opera house and having their pool under the Sydney Harbour Bridge this is something special. However it is a small pool but it was never packed. There isn’t a lifeguard but it is more cooling off posing pool than serious swimming. Heated from autumn this make it one of the best hotel rooftop pools in Sydney. So it creates the illusion of rooftop pool! It’s small triangle shaped pool with a snack bar/ restaurant attached so if you needed a day off seeing Sydney’s finest sights you can flop here for the day and you every whim catered for.
