Rooftop review roundup: I chose The Arcadion Rooftop Restaurant over Cavalieri Roof Garden partly because we were staying at the hotel, and I knew that if our flight was delayed, the hotel would alert the rooftop. But it was also the reviews that swayed me—this rooftop restaurant was less popular but had better reviews, and it turned out to be the best decision. The setting was beautiful, with only a handful of tables, so everyone had an incredible view. I had to pay a deposit (which was deducted from the bill), and even though our flight was delayed, they held our table for us. The sunset was spectacular, giving off Italian Florence vibes, and the birds flying by created a truly magnificent scene that my camera couldn’t quite capture. Happily, the food and wine were equally wonderful. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or not, make this rooftop a priority if you’re in Corfu Town

Rooftop review roundup: ‘Where the city meets the sea.’ Naok Azur had mixed reviews, but given its prime waterside location, all-day service, and party vibe at night, I was curious to find out why. I visited twice, both for drinks; once for late-night drinks and then for hangover drinks the next morning. The service was perfect both times, with the staff even suggesting and introducing me to the apple spritz! The icing on the rooftop was the amazing views of the fortress and their ability to cater to dietary requirements. Technically, it’s not a rooftop since it’s not on a roof, but it is a terrace overlooking the sea, so it totally counts! If you love to party, this is your night time calling, and if you enjoy a sea view brunch, make sure you don’t miss this spot!

Rooftop review roundup: Despite this restaurant dominating socials, the power of trip advisor meant I couldn’t risk eating here. But I did want to see for myself if the reviews were fair and if I would regret my decision. I didn’t as I came straight from dinner at Arcadion Bistrot so I knew that experience would only be matched rather than topped and it wasn’t. This is a beautiful restaurant – packed with tables and we were able to get a night cap and enjoy the night time amazing view. Service was good and drinks enjoyable.

Rooftop review roundup: Calling plane spotters or anyone who is even a bit impressed to be sat over looking a run way. My top tip is if you need to see a plane then coincide your visit with the plane schedule! Though in the summer it is constant! It is another ‘rooftop’ that isn’t so much on a roof but you can walk in off the road but then the drop and the view is everything a rooftop bar offers. Plus this is plane geek heaven, especially when you then fly home and can see it! It is a cocktail cafe style bar with simple food but amazing cocktails. I tried the Tramonto which was a spritz made with the local spirt, Kumquat – refreshing and perfect for this unique rooftop.

Rooftop review roundup: I booked dinner here – plane watching with views over the famous mouse island it was magical. I found it quite hard to make a reservation as they were very slow on email and had to go through the hotel resort but I am glad I did as they were fully booked. The staff were attentive and helpful, food delicious and wine recommendations on point. A gem of a restaurant in Corfu.

Rooftop review roundup: Although this rooftop and hotel are situated a bit further south than the town, it’s still manageable even if you’re only staying for one night—and it’s definitely worth it. The rooftop opens at 7pm, but I found that every balcony offered incredible terrace views! Unfortunately, the day we visited, there was a wedding on the rooftop, which wasn’t advertised anywhere and was a bit disappointing. I did manage to sneak up and see the area and view, and it was as stunning as described, so I didn’t feel too cheated and can still recommend it here. Even the pool felt like a rooftop pool (which you can visit with a day pass). The location is utterly breathtaking. The only downside, which wouldn’t apply to the rooftop, is that it’s not an adults-only hotel, so there were screaming children in the infinity pool and at dinner, which wasn’t ideal. The rooftop would have been a perfect escape for a child free visit.
