Brisbane, where the skyline boasts breathtaking views and the the rooftop bars offer the ideal spot to soak in the cityscape. Whether you’re planning a romantic date night with inventive cocktails, a leisurely lunch with the finest seafood in town, or a refreshing dip in one of the rooftop pools to beat the summer humidity, this city has a diverse selection of exceptional rooftop bars to cater to every preference. Rooftop review roundup: This rooftop bar was one of the reasons we also booked to stay here. Bright and airy if you had to be inside due to the heat then you didn’t feel robbed of the outdoor experience. Long lazy lunch was the perfect setting. Food and service was excellent. The only downside was not being told in advance that there would be a private event one of the nights. We did get a text on the day and the time the bar would be open again. So we had stopped by then but they wouldn’t let us in. This was really disappointing.

Rooftop review roundup: As this was only open for hotel guests – we booked to stay here as what an infinity pool! In 40 degree heatwave this was the best decision as shade and that water became our friends! It is a very small area so you do need to be up early if you wanted a pool day. Though most people popped by for a dip and left. It’s next door to the rooftop bar – The terrace so you don’t have to eat your lunch on your lap if you are making a day of it. Definitely worth not staying in the valley for this.

Rooftop review roundup: This is a gem of rooftop bar. Not sat at the highest point by any means but has wow close up view of the bridge – reminds me of the rooftop bar at the Harbour View Hotel in Sydney. Though the views aren’t just why you’d come – their array of cocktails are amazing and with fun names like ‘Pink Koala’ or ‘Under the bridge’ you will want them all! If I lived in Brisbane this would be a regular for sure.

Rooftop review roundup: I don’t feel I got to see how amazing this rooftop bar and restaurant was due to the rain. But like all good rooftop bars they have a contingency plan! The sides go up to cover you and the roof is retractable. Despite the rain it was still a great dinner venue – small plates of fresh fantastic food – the potato bravas were so good I ordered twice – you have been warned!

Rooftop review roundup: One of my Brisbane favs – this place is everything. Some of the loveliest staff, great decor that transport to you a holiday oasis with insane views. But the food stole it for me. I am not a foodie but I would quite happily have eaten here forever. Everything was just so good but a special mention is to the grilled calamari – it set off an obsession eat it for the rest of my trip but no where quite compared!

Rooftop review roundup: If you are looking for walk out and be wowed this this rooftop is for you . Definitely in my top 3 rooftop bars in Brisbane. This rooftop bar brings the party vibe without it being too much. Live music and spaced out seating meant it also felt very chill. The food is Japanese and the sushi is good. Like most places its done through the app but they are very helpful and will chat allergies if needed. If I lived here this would be a regular go to for sure with the sun setting over the city – its a pretty sensational rooftop.
