Santa came early to Soho! This brand new rooftop bar is bringing all the boujee vibes, just in time for Christmas! Sweeping views, creative cocktails elevating our drinking options in one of London’s most famous yet rooftop bar deprived areas: Broadwick hotel hosts a brand new rooftop bar, Flute. Welcome Flute!

This year we have been back living our best rooftop lives without social distancing or isolation. We have seen new rooftop bars pop up permanently in London. And we have also lost a few to the cost of living crisis. Notably a new one that didn’t even last the year that was Cavo (though considering this was the worse service I’ve ever had I’m not that surprised!)

However just as we thought the year was done… Soho was stirring with a new opening. Not just a rooftop bar but an opulent hotel oozing with bars!

The front of the unveiled ‘Broadwick’ boasts bright, vibrant pink elephants. Likening to a moderate version of ‘Annabel’s‘ exterior. But this is no private members club nor, like some hotels, is the rooftop for guests only!

The rooftop bar, Flute, inspired by the 19th century where Broadwick Street was home to a famous flute-maker. Each of their bars also have been thoughtfully named honouring London’s heritage. Whilst also acknowledging its neighbours and the artistic, bohemian, fun loving creatives it has and continues to attract.

It is London and this is soho so as expected the prices reflect this. A whopping £18 a cocktail and a bottle of Prosecco selling at £54. This for most, will be a treat night or drink. Their cocktail curation is ever evolving and I was assured that the best bartenders will be ensuring your visit will be worth every penny!

I had popped in within hours of it opening and it was filling up, not with instragrammers, but locals, hotel guests and business meetings! The local’s told me they had been waiting and watching this hotel develop and were keen to make this their after work go to! As this was November and there were no heaters outside yet, patrons gradually migrated to the warmth inside as the sun set and the temperature dropped.
