As signs of spring begin to blossom, a new rooftop bar emerges, beckoning with promises of all the bubbles on their sunny terrace. Los Mochis, launched this month, stands as the sibling of their Notting Hill counterpart. However they are bringing the party to London City with a stunning rooftop bar and restaurant.

Perched on the 9th floor of Broadgate this is where Tokyo now meets Tulum as they fuse all the best of Mexican and Japanese – which means tequila and sake is their speciality. Of course this extends to the food menu too – make your own tacos, a sushi bar and very impressively the whole menu is nut and gluten free! I have only found this in 2 other rooftop restaurants, Fable in Melbourne and Studio 48 in Camden. Being gluten free this is a big win for me and can’t wait to go back to work my way through the menu unrestricted!

Set with a stunning centre piece bar, a variety of different area’s to dine in whether you prefer a table or booth – this rooftop has it all. Including heaters and a retractable rooftop and sides – though it’s never quite the same with the roof on.

If the weather was bad then I would highly recommend inside. This whole top floor has been dedicated to dining on high! There is a lounge, bar, dining area and even a private dining area for hire. Opulent and awesome and a good alternative in winter especially as can book. The rooftop is currently walk in only.

A point to note is that whilst there are some tables with views of St Pauls cathedral, views aren’t the reason to rooftop here. However due to the dazzling design you won’t be missing them.

The cocktail list is as expected – impressive. From the ‘De Liver-ance’ for those needing a booze break to ‘Sunshine Margarita’ for those ready for summer to ‘Mezel Expresso Martinis’ that are sure to make you happy!

Working in the charity sector, this rooftop bar also proves it is all heart supporting amazing causes – read more here. If you look for you new rooftop London summer hang then you have found it!
