There’s nothing quite like seeing the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in person to remind you that you’re truly in Sydney. My favourite way to kick off my first night back in this sensational city? Not by heading straight to a rooftop bar (shocking, I know), but by sitting at the Opera Bar with a glass of champagne, toasting these iconic landmarks. Until recently, there weren’t any rooftop bars offering both views in one place — but that’s all changed! So, here’s a guide to my go-to spots for breath taking views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Which one will be your favourite?

Special mention goes to my favourite bar that is shockingly not a rooftop: The Opera Bar! This has been the meeting point for old reunions, first and and last days visiting Sydney, a best friends hen do and one of the happiest days of my life! If you are looking for a bar that encompasses that feeling of being in Sydney. This is my go to recommendation.
