All Rooftop Igloos in London 2026/7

This 2026/7 festive season, only three London rooftop bars have brought back their igloo offerings! Yes, only three! So who hasn’t turned up for the winter term this year? It’s a surprise, even to me! But after years of leading the igloo way Aviary Rooftop has said farewell to its glass domes. And the lesser known, but a favourite of mine, Mercer Rooftop also said no to the globe! So where can you still party in a pod, or dine in private with stunning London skyline views? Well, I got you! Personally tried and tested so you don’t miss your chance to sip under the stars whilst toasty in your own Christmas bauble!

All three rooftop igloos start at a £200 minimum spend/igloo hire for a 2.5 hour booking but they vary in their cancellation policies and one throws in a free cocktail for everyone! So let’s go and find the right igloo for you, or maybe you’ll try all three!

Florattica Winter Buds

Florattica Winter Buds

Where’s the rooftop igloo? Florattica Winter Buds in Aldgate are back for their second year. (And thank goodness as rooftop igloos seem to becoming extinct!) Two different sizes with the best skyline backdrop. It does get quiet over in the City on a Sunday but for some that will be ideal. Plus families with children aged 12+ are welcome until 6pm. Though leave your slippers at home, they’re not welcome! Yes, really it’s in their policy. I’ve personally never seen anyone in their slippers here but it must be a thing!

Details:
Small Winter Bud: £200 for up to 6 people (Sunday – Thursday). £300 on Friday & Saturdays
Large Winter Bud: £350 for up to 10 people £500 (Sunday – Thursday). £500 on Friday & Saturdays
Duration: 2.5 hours
Payment: Full amount
Cancellation: 48 hours for a full refund

1864 Rooftop Igloos

1864 Rooftop Igloos

Where’s the rooftop igloo? 1864 Rooftop is on Oxford Street on top of John Lewis Department Store. Perfect for recharging after all that festive shopping. And while there isn’t much of a view, these rooftop igloos are heated, cosy and perfect for a restorative cocktail or five! I personally have found this a great spot to meet as it’s so central. But be warned, now Oxford Street is pedestrianised, it will be busy.

Details:
Minimum spend / igloo hire: £200
Capacity: 4–8 people
Duration: 2.5 hours
Deposit: 50% upfront
Cancellation: 7 days’ notice for a full refund
Accessibility: Lift

Circe’s ‘Party Pods’ becoming ‘Snow Pods’

Circe’s Party Pods

Where’s the rooftop igloo? Circe’s ‘Party Pods’ are opposite Waterloo Station, perched on the very top of the building where you will find a feast of fizz and food! Circe’s has a special place in my rooftop heart as it saved the day when Bar Elba closed, and as a commuter through Waterloo this was a godsend. Especially when they continued the igloos and upgraded them!

Details:
Minimum spend / pod hire: £200 for 6 people in the week. Saturday price: £300
Larger pod: £300 for up to 9 people. Saturday price £400.
From 23 November the pods get covered in snow and the price goes up:
Minimum spend / pod hire: £270 for 6 people in the week. Saturday price: £360
Larger pod: £400 for up to 9 people. Saturday price £450.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Payment: Full amount
Cancellation: Non-refundable. Rescheduling is at their discretion.

Book their Party Pods. or read my review and insights of Circe’s.
