Rooftop review roundup: I was taken here as part of a tour I did of the city and couldn’t believe my luck that it was a rooftop restaurant (as obviously on tours you get what you are given and as it was a fleeting visit never thought I’d be able to fit in a rooftop!)
It was much as you’d expect for a tour’s choice – full of other tours! Noisy, busy and quick turnarounds. That is the plus side – if you want to grab and go this is great. The Lamb or Chicken Shawarma (like pitta bread) is their signature dish and not bad for this ‘fast food’ environment. There was also a buffet and soft drinks. So perfect for a pit stop buy I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food but absolutely for the views. It’s breathtaking being in the city able to look over the city and pause. There are many look outs as you walk round the old city but it’s hard to stop for longer than a photo op. So it’s perfect for a sit down and reflection at so much history. ๐
Address: Aftimos Street, Old city (note that there is no google map for this place but it used to be called Papa Andreas and thats still mapped)
