Oxo Tower’s rooftop terrace refresh.

London’s original rooftop terrace has had a Chandon celebratory summer make over bringing all the Spanish vibes to London.

Their gorgeous glass enclosed restaurant was now awash with orange plants reminiscent of my recent trip to Spain. The Seville smell of fruitiness had followed me home. Who needs to holiday when rooftop bars like this exist.

Transitioning to their garden rooftop terrace, the thematic continuity persists with orange plants intricately intertwined along the railings. Freshly added orange blankets, a necessity given the brisk May weather typical of the U.K., and branded cushions are generously scattered for added comfort.

Spanish oranges are legendary for their potent smell and I was gutted on my last trip I couldn’t eat them (as they are so bitter) but you can drink them! Orange wine is a local favourite or at this rooftop bar right now they are in the Chandon Garden Spritz!

Sunshine and Chandon spritz the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Bottling Spain’s sensational oranges with bubbles – I may have found my new summer drink!

Hurry though it’s only on till July so perfect for the upcoming Jubilee weekend! But if oranges aren’t your thing then there’s also the jubilee special afternoon tea (with including a Kiri royal trifle!). Or maybe like me you’d rather their gin themed ‘Lilibet’ cocktail paired with a pudding fit for any rooftop princess!
