Barcelona Best Rooftops bars and restaurants

La Dolce Vitae

Location: On top of the Majestic Hotel & Spa which is on Paseo de Garcia – very central in the city especially for shopping.

View: Pretty much the whole of Barcelona! The La Sagrada Familia and Montjuic are the highlights.

Dress code: Anything πŸ‘•πŸ‘–πŸ‘šπŸ‘—though I’d dress up if it was the evening.

Vibe: Quiet – was Easter and lunchtime though.

Prosecco price: 🍾🍾 (tho it’s Spain so it’s Cava)

Food available? Yes and πŸ˜‹ though was a limited menu

Booking available? We didn’t and didn’t appear so.

Warm/dry weather only? No! This was the genius of the place. There was an area where you could eat that could be made enclosed – did limit the number of people as the rest of the roof is open.

Rooftop review roundup: As it was Easter weekend the weather wasn’t super rooftop warm and was very windy this day but this place was the perfect haven form shelter whilst still enjoying a great view. Service was great. Jazz playing. Total mix of people. Very relaxed – perfect for drinks.

Warm/dry weather only? No – retractable roof πŸ‘

Rooftop review roundup: We were staying here so breakfast with such a view was a treat. More for hotel guests than a destination in its own right but if you are in that neighbourhood then perfect for a pit stop.

Warm/dry weather only? Yes and no… there are sheltered areas but definitely a summer destination.

Rooftop review roundup: I came here for drinks a year or so at night and loved it so we came back but it hadn’t opened for lunch so we didn’t end up staying. It’s a cute little space and just a few minutes away great shopping!
