Looking for a hotel with a rooftop to elevate your holiday or weekend away? Maybe you need a room and a rooftop bar to relax on after a day of meetings. Or maybe you want breakfast with a skyline view. Or if you are like me – a morning dip in a rooftop pool. Many rooftop bars and most rooftop pools are found on top of hotels, but which ones are also worth staying at? I’m sharing the hotels I’ve personally stayed at with rooftop bars or rooftop pools, and whether they were worth booking.
From budget-friendly finds to five-star stunners. Each hotel review includes practical details and real experiences to help you decide if it’s right for you. Whether you’re travelling for work or fun, solo, with friends, a hotel with a rooftop can add a layer of luxury and magic.

Personally, I love the ease of a nightcap under the stars close to my bed, a sunset rooftop toast while transitioning from day to night outfits, and a rooftop pool where I can roll straight from my room to recover in style. Because any trip is better with a great view. So pack your bags – you’re not just travelling, you’re living the skyline.
Hotel Rooftop Booking Tip
Before you book a hotel for its rooftop, please note that hotels sometimes close their rooftops for private events, seasonal schedules, or refurbishment. This isn’t always communicated to guests in advance. If the rooftop bar or pool or restaurant is a key reason for your booking, I recommend contacting the hotel to confirm opening times during your stay.
