Rooftop review roundup: This seemed to be THE rooftop to go to in the city. Well known and the highest but because of that there’s an entry charge for non guests if you fancy a drink and I’m not sure it was worth it when this city has so many rooftop bars. However I would fully recommend the restaurant – a mountain backdrop and a magical romantic setting.

Rooftop review roundup: The prefect post lunch cocktail or as the name suggests sunset drinks over the marina. Very chill and cheap with sofas and a small bar – this is your perfect pit stop (as after the shopping below you’ll need refuelling!) technically unsure it qualifies as a rooftop but it’s on top of the marina so I’m counting it!

Rooftop review roundup: Gorgeous little rooftop with wow views of Malaga’s marina. I chose to stay here too so could have a little pit stop rooftop drink pre & post dinner on hand. I’m glad I was staying as it gets busy – with private function one night and being full another. Happily as guests they always found room for us. It also makes a perfect flop place after some exploring or shopping on huge sun sofa beds. There’s a very small plunge pool – perfect for an afternoon siesta but there’s a lack of food. Just pizza by day and sushi by night so pretty restrictive if wanted a day hanging. However the hotel was perfect location and great staff so I would recommend if you are wanting to stay and explore. Or just visit for a drink. Read more about the trip here.

Rooftop review roundup: Much like the Atlantis this isn’t technically a rooftop but it also is – so again I’m counting it as it has all the right rooftop ingredients: views, on top on a building and the cocktails are worth it for them alone… fully recommend the ‘addicted to you’ πΉ

Rooftop review roundup: A steep climb up from the city to the castle then divert to the right and you’ll find a hidden hotel with the best Malaga rooftop views. The actual rooftop is home to their stunning pool. (Though they have missed a trick with it not being an infinity one but still not too shabby!!) The ‘rooftop’ restaurant is actually located on the floor below so technically isn’t a rooftop BUT I’m making an exception for these views. You have to eat to enjoy the restaurant- they don’t allow just a drink but for one you can to slum it at the bar downstairs… with equal beautiful views. It’s a wonder why anyone actually goes to the castle with this place so close!
