Rooftop review: Well this was worth the wait! I hadn’t been here since 2018 as it was closed for a big refurbishment every time I was visiting. But this time it was open and I went several times! It was everything and more. The thing that impressed the most was the staff. Welcoming, friendly and kind. Could easily be a pretentious venue with a bad attitude and it was the opposite. It’s pricey but it’s boujee! A beautiful floral bar framing the entrance with a long lean terrace running down the side of the indoor part of the building. Bookmarked by sofa areas (closed in winter). The mountain and sea views were of course the icing of this new fav rooftop bar and restaurant.

Rooftop review roundup: What a fabulous addition to the coast line. The areas are small: pool, bar area and restaurant but big views. The food and service is fabulous with lovely attention to detail – like your bread is wrapped in a paper bag to stop the birds swooping down on you!!! Big shout out to Mila who when I returned in 2023 was also a great addition to the staff! The only possible downside is the location. It’s a good half hour / 45 min walk from the old town back towards the airport. Though to walk along the promenade, on a sunny winter day, was certainly not the worse way I’ve spent a Saturday! And there’s a tram that runs really close behind it if you don’t fancy the stroll back. Definitely one of my all time favs.

Rooftop review: This is one of my all time favs – been far too many times an various trips. Food is fabulous, the sea view stretches for miles and you really could just spend an entire day sitting here. There’s a pool for hotel guests and a weather safe Resturant should the rain gods arrive. The sunset is the best time of day to go – worth a trip up for just that.

Rooftop review roundup: This was a gem of a rooftop. €9 for Prosecco seemed almost a bargain! Refurbished in 2022 it is now has colourful quirky decor with some insta worthy photo spots with mirrors making it a fun rooftop bar. Definitely worth an afternoon on the bubbles though what I liked was it was open early and closes late!

Rooftop review roundup: I had been excited to check this rooftop out as it’s been closed every time I’ve been to Nice. But it was super quiet and the actual bar closed up for winter (though you could get drinks and take them up from the bar on the floor below) But considering how busy Seen Rooftop was just a few doors down I was intrigued this one was so quiet as very similar views…..

Rooftop review roundup: As the name suggests – a splendid little find. What I loved most was being able to have a morning coffee with such incredible views. Staff are kind and friendly and service with a smile. The indoor part isn’t that fancy so I would really recommend it for the rooftop – and there’s levels to it! One with a small pool & jacuzzi, one with dining and one small square for uninterrupted 360 degree views. As we were staying so close it became our go to first coffee and our night cap regular.

Rooftop review roundup: What a venue, what a view! This isn’t strictly speaking a rooftop but I’m 💯 allowing it as it holds all the magic ingredients for one. Impressively the food matched the view though this is a seaside splurge meal, as you’d expect. However I was impressed there is a more affordable set menu in the week. Seating wise if you want to be as close to the sea (like me) then note those tables are for two people. (Like Sushi Samba in London). I assumed I would prefer being further out to sea but on the lower level. What was I thinking when I am all about height! The top ‘desk’ was the perfect spot for me and big thanks to Cloe for sorting that. One last point is being only April in the week it was surprisingly busy (though not that surprising when you consider how unique it is, so booking is a must. Bonne appetit.
