St Ives, nestled in the corner of Cornwall home to some of the greediest seagulls and some of my family! Quaint, cobbled streets lead to cute rooftop bars and terraces reflecting the laid back attitude this town loves. Additionally, Carbis Bay has elevated its offerings with a sensational rooftop pool, adding a great big dollop of glamour to this seaside destination. Where will you go first?

Rooftop review roundup: What a view, what a rooftop pool! Heated so no matter what the weather you can be sat soaking in the sea views. Exclusively for guests unless you have a spa day – this is worth the pamper and comes complete with a hot tub too. There’s also a decking so can get lunch before pottering back up sip your champers in the pool. Though be warned in the summer this is a magnet for all wanting that abroad holiday vibe. (If you are staying or having a spa day, I would also really recommend The Ugly Butterfly Restaurant – not a rooftop but a sustainable offering from Adam Handling with the same stunning sea views).

Rooftop review roundup: A cute little chilled rooftop bar terrace on top of one of Cornwall’s oldest pubs – dating back to 1312! Don’t think there was a rooftop then. But now we do and on a warm summers day its a great hideaway with away from the hustle and bustle of the lanes below.
