Rooftop review roundup: This is the jewel in the rooftop bar crown for Split. Amazing views, a lot of different views, from the mountains behind to the sea ahead. This is a must for a pre dinner drink. You don’t have to book and I went just before sunset and it was pretty quiet. The rooftop itself is mainly used by guests in the day with large cabanas and an amazing rooftop pool with views to rival most hotels. The pool is just for guests but for everyone else this is your go to photo shot. (Note it was pretty pricey so probably a one drink rather than bottle!)

Warm/dry weather only? Yes though they have inside area.
Rooftop review roundup: Set in the palace walls prepare for a perfect sunset setting to enjoy an extra special dinner. It is a fixed menu of 3 courses at a hefty 95 Euros (there is also a 7-course option too!) so do check ahead you like the food! There is good choice and they were fantastic to cater for gluten free options. This is a blow out but not to missed lunch or dinner venue. Not quite technically a rooftop restaurant more a balcony terrace but I am counting it!

Rooftop review roundup: Be prepared to climb for this one! Only about 10-15 minutes from Split town. But in the heat of summer it felt a lot longer. There are two ways to walk up. One through the back streets of Split. One on a designated pathway. Which ever you choose do the opposite on the way down as itβs great to see different part of split. This isnβt so much a rooftop restaurant in Split as a cliff top one! But it counts as these views are WOW! We didnβt book as just went for a mid-morning drink and was fine but to be sure of a table I probably would. They are a restaurant so you can have a stunning sunset dinner too. The reviews I read were mixed but the service for us was fab!

Rooftop review roundup: This is a rooftop revelation. It changes personalities throughout the day! Starting with a chill brunch setting as a rooftop restaurant in Split and ending in parting as a rooftop bar. Different music each night and a vast space to accommodate dancing and different areas. The stools overlooking the harbour are a pretty popular date spot but there’s plenty of group seating. Service was good and the sushi at 10pm was surprisingly excellent, so much so I wanted more. And of course, what popular rooftop bar doesnβt have their own bottle of rose! A great spot to suit all ages.

Rooftop review roundup: This is a hotel rooftop restaurant in split. That by day is a pool and sunbathing area for guests. By night itβs a beautiful setting for a sunset dinner for all. I had thought it was also a rooftop bar but when I arrived there was no one around (I had also emailed and was told it I would love it!). I had to go down to the beach bar to get our drinks. This then turned out to be owned by someone else and we were told to finish up our drinks or take back downstairs. Even though their bar hadnβt opened yet! Bit odd. But the setting was stunning and if I had more time would have stayed for dinner. Great for those in Split longer or staying at the hotel or surrounding areas.

Rooftop review roundup: This rooftop restaurant, just outside Split, was all about the views and traditional cuisine. Set up over the ocean on a cliff top it was like walking into a movie. You can’t book on line. You have to Whatsapp them your booking details, no earlier than 10 days and no later than one day before. They are a family run business and so it’s cash only. You also preorder your food (they send the menu on what’s app). A fish platter or meat platter (β¬28-38) or classic Croatia meat or fish platters (β¬29-39). Or set 3 courses and all you can drink local wine. (β¬50-80) Plus a vegan or vegy or kids platter. And all vegetables are home grown. The women were in traditional Croatian dress and very attentive.
I am loathed to say anything bad as they even honoured my preference for which table. (Yes, I stalked the restaurant lay out!) But if you are a foodie this isn’t for you. It was decent simple food and again a huge amount (which they send you away with if you can’t finish). But it certainly wasn’t fancy or the best food I’ve had. But for me the views were worth that hit. We used uber to get there and back with no problem but they do advise using local taxiβs. There communication before you go is fantastic. It really is a wonderful venue and very, very calming.

Rooftop review roundup: Whilst this for hotel guests I am including in case you are trying to decide where to stay. This was a very small space with a equally small bar and pool. It was perfect for an end of the day dip and a cocktail but it wouldnβt be a whole day destination. When you are in the pool your view is sadly blocked so it could be an amazing infinity pool but sadly isnβt.

Rooftop review roundup: Another not for the public but also sharing this one, not because I stayed there but I did go and snoop! Aka they showed me round. I had seen on socials their fab view and pool and had been tempted to stay here. What I hadnβt realised was the pool and bar is on the 3rd floor. There is a rooftop bar are β for hire. Its empty. So adding here just for clarity. That said their 3rd floor was the cosiest terrace I had seen so far and definitely one for lazy pool days if you wanted those!
