Rooftop review roundup: This glamourous rooftop bar, accessed through the casino, exudes the Gold Coast’s boujee bling it has become known for. Whilst the restaurant is indoor the doors open up so you could kick of your day with a beautiful breakfast with breath taking views. But it’s the infinity pool and a glamorous bar is the glitzy shine in this 6 star hotel. Dress to impress! And note, whilst you can take pics by the pool, you will have to stay here to be able to cool off in these waters!

Rooftop review roundup: What a hotel! Riske decorated rooms and a rooftop combined! This is the place for a hens weekend if ever I found! Though the rooftop isn’t a bar anymore (2024 update) and still isn’t all pink which I was pretty disappointed about! It is however a space you can BYO – usually for guests but they do open up to locals so get in touch should you fancy some fun in the sun.

Rooftop review roundup: What a setting! It may only be a floor up but this rooftop terrace is magical. More than a dining destination; it’s a celebration of the laid-back elegance that defines Queensland’s coastal lifestyle. The food was good – naturally had the fish as where else can you get such freshness than by the sea. We booked in person and even requested the table which was agreed. However the table configurations are such that was never going to be possible – so that was really disappointing. However – it was a beautiful night with the sun setting over the sea – just stunning.

Rooftop review roundup: ‘Flirt with breath-taking views’ they say and they were right! What a secret treasure trove of a rooftop bar and resturant. I have been to a few rooftops round the world that are on top of museums or galleries which adds such a great dimension to enjoy the view and discuss the art! The MCA in Sydney or The Met in NYC are two impressive ones if you like Hota. Aside the incredible views, The Exhibitionist is quirkily shaped in keeping with the unusual and colourful building it sits on top of.

Rooftop review roundup: Named after Mr P.P. Agnew, the inaugural Post and Telegraph manager in the 1800’s. This rooftop bar pays homage to the former Postmaster General’s home that it now sits on top of! Also integrating the caption ‘In Good Company’β- this certainly was. Super friendly – happily helping us get our friendship snaps by the ‘Good Company’ mural! Loved this space and whilst the views weren’t special the venue was.
