Rooftop review roundup: A treasure trove oozing character and chic vibes. The rooftop is the place to hang, drinks with a view and a boujee decadent vibe. The floor below is the bar and below that the restaurant. All with the views and I would fully recommend dinner with a rooftop drink before and after as the food is insanely satiable. Attention to detail, delicious and decant all in one meal!

Rooftop review roundup: The ultimate secret sun desk terrace, perfect location for the 02 or London City Airport. It’s not on the main tube lines so uber was my friend and so worth it and this place isn’t just a rooftop on a hotel it’s literally doing good. Reinvesting its profits back into social causes, employing on personality rather than CV to give more people a chance, working with the planet. So really by visiting this rooftop you are giving back and doing good!!

Rooftop review roundup: The teenist rooftop garden set above the Thames tunnel – the first tunnel in the world under a navigable river where they grow all their own herbs for their cocktails and locally brewed beer. Little toad stools to perch on & fire pits to toast marshmallows and the finest crafted cocktails – it’s like camping with a butler for a few hours. Warm/dry weather only? Yes the main grass area is unsheltered but thereβs also an indoor area that by day is a work space. Open from April through to December.
Rooftop review roundup: One of the rarer rooftops to open midday through so itβs got points for that. Not the glamorous hotel entrance some rooftops have – this is very much a hipster creative type hang out. Good tunes and a chilled vibe. Plastic cups (tho full marks for bubbles in a plastic flute not a beaker!) Thereβs a fun young feel but with sweeping views of the city, staff are friendly and is a fab spot for the sun setting to DJ vibes.

Warm/dry weather only? Yes – they do have some cover in some of the huts and in winter much more catered for.
Rooftop review roundup: Don’t let the shlep out of the central London bubble put you off – it’s worth the effort. (Though if it is a journey for you I would book – whilst it’s free to walk in most of the time and a big venue, it’s worth guaranteeing your spot) The views are spectacular, there’s a summer beach vibe (minus an actual beach), day beds and garden booths to be booked and igloos in the winter! By summer lawn games available and by winter an ice rink. A fabulous all rounder rooftop.

Rooftop review roundup: So technically this isn’t a rooftop per say…. BUT I am sneaking it in as a) I included it’s sister in Gibraltar as one as it has a rooftop pool on the top deck so felt the London one should make the cut even if it’s sans a pool. B) It is outdoor and high and with fabulous views on top of a boat and does feel like you are on holiday!
